Fitzroy has stunned the defending Series Futsal Australia (SFA) champions in a 2-1 win to go to the top of Group A after two matches.
Cumbre scored the opening goal and did well to keep Fitzroy out until the half-time break.
Fitzroy equalised through new signing Kui Mu after a sustained period of pressure spanning from the middle of the first half.
Fitzroy took the lead minutes later, once again through Mu. A saved ten-metre penalty for a sixth foul was not enough to deny Fitzroy, as Mu turned in the rebound.
Fitzroy held on for the upset win, despite playing without star player Fernando De Moreas.
