Stirling FC has stunned tournament favourites Pascoe Vale FC to reach the final of the Series Futsal Australia Cup in Perth today.
Stirling got the game rolling with an early goal, but Pascoe Vale struck back to level the score.
Midway through the second half, Stirling bagged two important goals to put Pascoe Vale on the back foot. Another goal almost sent the game beyond Pascoe Vale, who were able to pull one back with a fifth-man inspired goal.
But it wasn’t enough – Stirling through to the final with a 4-2 upset win. The West Aussie team will take on the winner of FC Balwyn (Vic) and Claremont Cambio Cumbre FC (WA).
