A new prize structure has been confirmed for the successful clubs in the women’s Series Futsal Victoria premiership from this season.
The women’s club champions will be awarded free entry into the next Series Futsal Australia competition, plus free entry into the traditional end-of-season Foz Cup.
The new system replaces the former cash prizes that were handed out in previous seasons.
Currently, Moreland FC leads the SFV women’s premiership, starting the season on an undefeated run.
Series Futsal CEO Peter Parthimos says that the new prize structure will help
“The women’s premiership has been going from strength-to-strength and we feel that the new prizes is a great incentive,” Parthimos told SeriesFutsal.com.
“The Series Futsal Australia competition has become the most sought-after prize for women’s futsal. The last title held in Melbourne was the best ever, and the demand for places has increased significantly.
“We are committed to delivering quality futsal for everyone – men and women – and we are very pleased to see the Victorian women’s premiership being played at a very high level.”
