Moreland Futsal Club has always been an ambitious club, and these past few weeks have been no different. Making three signings in a matter of 24 hours after losing Ben Monteleone, Moreland showed they have the pulling power to attract top talent, despite being at the foot of the table.
A massive weekend looms ahead for Moreland where they face current champions FC Carlton Heart and 10 time winners Pascoe Vale FC in a back to back Friday and Saturday double header.
President Derren Saban continues to show his intent as he has included Futsalroos Daniel Fogarty and Dean Lockhart to his squad saying this has been a long time coming working around the busy schedules of the pair and we can expect to see their faces in Series Futsal Victoria more often this season.
It looms as two must win games for Moreland and with the additions of Fogarty and Lockhart it certainly puts the club in good stead to take home six points this coming weekend.
