A record number of teams will compete in the 2018 Junior Futsal Oz Club Nationals at the Brunswick and Thomastown Futsal Oz Stadiums this coming January.
A total of 82 teams have secured their entries across the six age groups – Under 8s, 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s and 21s.
The most populated age groups are the Under 10s and 12s with a staggering 40 teams entering the National Club based championship.
The country’s best Futsal Clubs will travel to Melbourne and test themselves against some of the best junior talent in the land.
Of the 82 strong Futsal Club teams, 41 are travelling from interstate making this the most diverse and competitive Junior Futsal Oz Nationals to date.
“What a great way to build your Futsal Club, most of the junior players will be accompanied and coached by their senior club players who wear their club colours and club logo week in and week out. This time they get the chance to showcase their talent in front of a genuine futsal national platform”

“The clubs are the future and without doubt the juniors coming along with their clubs will grow to be major components in their club’s success, it’s amazing to see this unfold right before our eyes”
Parthimos went on to say
“Futsal in Australia is growing at a rapid pace and the talent coming up can feel this. Our job is to be able to provide a professional platform that can not only cater for the quality but to allow them to excel”

The 2018 Junior Futsal Oz Nationals will be held at Brunswick (Under 8s and 10s) and Thomastown (Under 12s, 14s, 16s and 21s) between January 5-9.
