Commentator Jimmy Soufis called it a “pure futsal move” and it has been awarded the ‘Play of the Round’ during Round 8 of the 2016/17 Series Futsal Victoria premiership.

Hume FC debutant Jonathan Barrientos, who recently played for the Australian futsal team in the Futsal World Cup, stated the play and ended it with a back-post tap in, giving Hume the first goal of the game.

The goal, however, was Hume’s sole for the match, going down to an impressive Balwyn 4-1 in hot conditions at the Thomastown Stadium.
