For the first time, the Play of the Round has not been awarded to a goal scorer. Instead, this time a goal keeper has received the prized gong!

Pascoe Vale FC’s Felipe Bley put in a man of the match performance to help his team secure victory in a huge match against Fitzroy FC at the Thomastown Futsal Oz Stadium.

Bley was able to keep out two important ‘spot’ kicks – both in the second half – ensuring that Pascoe Vale took a victory in front of the biggest crowd seen at the Thomastown venue.

NOTE: Viewer warning – Bley saves one of these with his face – but nothing was broken!
