Champion goal keeper Felipe Bley has left Pascoe Vale and will make his services available to a rival team, if the right offer presents itself.

Bley, a key figure in the champion team’s success over the past few seasons, will move to Queensland next month.

However, his move north may not be permanent, and has indicated that he will be open to other opportunity if he is available.

“I don’t think there was the one reason to leave Pascoe, it was a decision made upon a few different factors, both of my personal life, and my sportsman life,” Bley told SeriesFutsal.com.

“I will be moving up to Queensland early next month, chasing the summer that never came in four years living in Melbourne!

“I am friends with everyone that plays in here, and have no enemies within Series Futsal, so I guess if I was to stay in Melbourne, I would play for any teams.”

Bley has been a part of all of Pascoe Vale’s big successes – from Victorian titles to Series Futsal Australia crowns.

He says that his fondest memory with the club was winning the SFA title in 2013.

“My favourite memory with Pascoe Vale would have to be winning the SFA against Vic Vipers,” he said.

“It was in front of a packed Brunswick stadium, and it was a tournament where I was awarded the Golden Glove.

“Pascoe Vale had an amazing team that season. I will always remember that for the rest of my life!”

Pascoe Vale is not short of goal keeping options. In recent weeks, Bley has been replaced in goals by former Balwyn player Alexander Boro, James (recently returning from injury) and Paul Taylor, who made his debut for the club last Friday.

Pascoe Vale takes on FC Collingwood this Friday.

The penultimate round of the 2016/17 Series Futsal Victoria will be held at Thomastown this Friday night with four blockbuster games.
