CF Brunswick is preparing to give the 2017 Series Futsal Victoria competition a major shake with new recruits joining (and re-joining) the team.

Former player Felipe Tadashi and ex-Collingwood star Jordan Constan will pull on the famous red strip in 2017, hoping to take the Brunswick team further up the ladder.

Team captain Antonis Apostilakis says that he is pleased to confirm his new signing.

“It’s great to have Felipe back apart of the squad again,” Apostolakis told SeriesFutsal.com.

“He hasn’t played for a few seasons but he has trained with us over his break away from playing so won’t have any issues fitting in with the boys.

“I’m looking forward to being back on the court again with him.

“I played with the Vic Vipers with Jordan in a couple different competitions and I know what qualities he can bring to a team.

“I’m looking forward to him making his debut this weekend in the Foz Cup and him being apart of the team next season.”

While Constan will be able to suit up for Brunswick in the Foz Cup this Sunday, Tadashi will miss out as he did not play any Series Futsal Victoria matches during the past season.

The Foz Cup is the traditional ‘end-of-season’ tournament always throws up plenty of tight games, great goals and plenty of emotion.
