Fitzroy has taken its second Play of the Round in-a-row with after another great goal during Round 2 of Series Futsal Victoria on Friday.
Every Fitzroy player (other than goal keeper Michael Chami) got a touch on the ball as the Ultra Football-supported squad weaved its wand to eventually see captain Fernando de Moraes lay off an easy ball to goal-scorer Abdulhayi Abdi.
The win for Fitzroy has given them the perfect start to the season with two wins from two starts.
Due to the Easter long weekend, the men’s Series Futsal Victoria premiership will take a one week break. The next round will be held on Friday, April 21. Round 3 will be played as a ‘catch-up’ on Sunday, April 30.
