Three famous and celebrated figures in Series Futsal Victoria will rack up significant milestones in Round 6 of Series Futsal Victoria action tommorow at the Thomastown Futsal Oz Stadium.

Hume FC stalwart Ahmed Azzam will notch up his 250th match, while Fitzroy legend Fernando de Moraes will make his 150th Series Futsal start.

Also, former Hume player turned Pascoe Vale target Ubeyde Cicek will make his 100th Series Futsal appearance.

Azzam, a loyal member of the ‘Black Army’, is the only player to have contested every season of Series Futsal Victoria and has played for a number of other clubs, including Brimbank, Metro Central, Fitzroy, Ashburton, Pascoe Vale and Prahran.

In the first season of Series Futsal Victoria (known then as V-League), Azzam was the inaugural winner of the MVP award playing for the 2007 champions Sultans FC. He has also won a league title at Pascoe Vale FC.

‘The King’ de Moraes is regarded as one of the best players to ever step onto a Series Futsal court, and would have had many more caps under his belt if not for injury and other obligations.

A former North Melbourne and Vic Vipers player, de Moraes has been an instrumental figure in turning Fitzroy into a title contender this season.

Cicek started his Series Futsal Victoria career with Hume FC, helping the club to its first Foz Cup crown last year. At the end of last season, he moved to 10-time champion club Pascoe Vale FC.

Round 6 promises to be a classic, highlighted by the top of the table clash between FC Carlton and Fitzroy FC to kick-off the four fixtures.
