Series Futsal Victoria heavyweights Fitzroy FC will wear its pink Ultra Football strip in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation this Friday evening.

After pulling off a miracle win against title leaders FC Carlton last week, Fitzroy is aiming to continue its winning run against FC Balwyn, while raising awareness for the breast cancer charity.

Fitzroy FC is aiming to raise over $1000, and club captain Fernando de Moraes says that he is excited to play for a great cause.

“Breast cancer is a disease that has touched so many people, and this is our small way to raise some money and awareness for the cause,” said de Moraes.

“In the past week, the club has been working behind the scenes to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and we hope to reach over $1000.”

The match between Fitzroy and Balwyn will kick-off at 7pm.
