It has not taken Moreland long to bounce back from the loss of Ben Monteleone bringing in former player Hussein Dehaini and former Vic Vipers, Shayan Alinejad to bolster the stocks.

While Dehaini is tied to his current club Northern Lions until round eleven, Alinejad is poised to make his debut this Friday against Brunswick in what is a big in for the Moreland club.

Series Futsal spoke to president Derren Saban on the signings.

Derren Saban ~ “With Spiro Kargas taking the reigns we have given him full access to potential new players he may require for the remainder of the season.

In all fairness The transfer list was finalised weeks ago. Spiro has requested more left footed players and we have managed to secure one of the most talented in Dehaini who returns to the club after a stint with Northern Lions. We all know the talent Dehaini has and is a true athlete with a monster left foot.

Having played in the elite leagues we have had to wait until round 11 to bring him back home.

Shayan was also requested by Kargas, Shayan’s experience domestically and internationally sees him as a very quick Flanker that has a sharp eye for goal and defiantly will  give us another avenue to scoring. A highly regarded Futsal player that we are proud to have join the club from this week onwards”

You can catch Shayan in action this Friday at the Thomastown Futsal Oz Stadium or via the live stream on the Futsal Oz Youtube Channel.
