After their grueling matches in Round 20 of Series Futsal Victoria, two star players could miss out on Pascoe Vale vs Fitzroy due to injury.

After a long and testing encounter with Regent Panthers FC, it appears Scott Rogan may be temporarily out-of-action or relegated to being an emergency player on the bench for the remainder of the season.

The injury came in the form of a rough collision to his toe which has transpired into a potential yet unexpected sideline.

Broken, fractured or bruised, Rogan may miss next rounds fixture against Pascoe Vale as they look to slow down the lions from winning the title.

There is no certainty on the extent of the injury, but the Fitzroy star has been to the hospital so we can perhaps expect him as an emergency player on the bench as a maximum.

Earlier in the night it appeared that his opponent for the next round Alejandro Gomez also suffered a slight injury in the form of a rolled ankle against Western Wolves FC.

‘El Mago’ went down visibly in pain as all of his weight was on his twisted ankle, causing him to fall and clutch at his injury in pain. He was taken off the court as his match finished prematurely.

The injury is much more clear than Rogan’s, and it seems the Spaniard will be out for the clash with Fitzroy.
