The final game of the quarter final stage pitted league champions Richmond against the lowest ranked side in Balwyn. It was a close opening as Balwyn held off the rampant Richmond side well in the opening exchanges but it was short lived as Richmond stamped their authority on the game with Claudia Fruscalzo adding a double and the Fonua sisters Monica and Lisa both chiming in with goals to have Richmond in with a healthy 4-0 half time lead.

The second half was more of the same as Balwyn defended for their lives while Richmond continued to dominate possession and found their fifth goal through Em Coppock, before a scuffle between the two sides saw Lisa Fonua (Richmond) & Diarna Cartwright (Balwyn) both sent off leaving the sides down to three players each souring the contest but not fazing Richmond as Penny Bakopoulos ran the length of the court before rocketing home a finish to seal the deal and put Richmond into next weeks Semi Finals.
