The final game of Round 11 saw an on the rise Brunswick outfit take on a faltering Hume side. Brunswick were first to get on the board when Joshua Pulvirenti flicked home a header from goal keeper James Bush’s long throw. Hume hit back through Ahmed Azzam when he finishing from the edge of the area, before Nikola Jurcic was in the right place to tap home from close range. The first half had remained a close battle through out and thus no one else could find the net again until the break, as Hume went in a goal to the good.
Brunswick started the second half in good fashion scoring through Ruz Roslan who finished with class from close range. The first goal of the half proved to be the catalyst for Brunswick as they followed the first goal with a quick second. Putting them into the lead. Joshua Pulvirenti tapped it in following a great run down the wing from Roslan. Brunswick’s third goal came from some more quality play. Pulverenti found the back of the net for the third time opening up the biggest lead of the game. The lead proved to be insurmountable as Hume only managed to score once more for the match through an unlucky own goal coming off Roslan following a cross. Despite a strong start from Hume Brunswick showed their quality in the second half to overcome a fighting Hume.
