The final instalment of Round 17 Series Futsal action saw Carlton Heart in desperate search of points against an in form Brunswick side. EArly on, Brunswick hit the front through Cameron Holmes when he was teed up from a side ball on the left to hit a low shot into the bottom right corner. The second half saw Carlton really step up their game and after an extended period of pressure, Carlton finally hit the score board, Ernie Simsek smashed home a loose ball from the top of the area. Soon after Carlton were level as the worked the ball around well before Chaaban Rajab found Cuneyt Aydin at the back post. Brunswick called a time out, and responded well afterwards as in the final 5 minutes of the game they managed to out the game to bed. Chris Triantafilopoulos would put Brunswick back in front, finishing at the second time of asking after his first shot was saved. Ben Rigby would wrap up the points for the Bloods as he poked the ball past Puthalakath on the edge of the area.
