Recap
The third game for the night saw a vastly improved Metro team taking on a Hume side finding form once again. From the outset, the game was a closely fought contest with few chances being carved out by either side. Half way through the first half, Hume finally managed to breakthrough, with Ubeyde Cicek’s deflected effort some how finding its way into the back of the net. Hume would follow this up by continuing to knock on the door, but Metro’s Cem Bicer was up to task and ensured no more goals were scored to keep his side in it at the break.
The second half was a very similar affair to the first with both teams struggling to piece together periods of decent possession, and struggling to create many chances. This somewhat scrappy affair continued till midway through the second half, when Moe Alghorabi managed to slide his shot under Frano Saric to equalise for Metro. Hume would dominate proceedings for the finals minutes of the match, but once again, anything Hume threw at Metro’s goal, Bicer was equal to, as he made some crucial saves to ensure the points were shared.
