Scoring after just three touches from the kick off they took a firm grasp of the game early and never gave Metro a look in. Pascoe Vale passed the ball around with ease as Metro looked outclassed. Despite the domination on the pitch Pascoe Vale was struggling to have any major effect on the scoreboard with Metro’s goal keeper Cem Bicer putting on a goalkeeping masterclass. Pascoe Vale went into the half with a three goal to none lead.
The second half was similar to the first throughout as Pascoe Vale dominated play. Metro did manage to find some openings on goal and Pascoe Vale continued to miss opportunities. Both teams during the second half where playing a fifth man. This lead to a lot of goals coming from turnovers. Despite the expectation for pascoe Vale to dominate the final score line read seven goals to three but could have been much worse for Metro.
