Recap
Collingwood have improved greatly in recent weeks and are looking more and more like a Series Futsal level team every week. They will be mulling over their loss to Metro last week as it was a winnable game that they let go and they will hope to improve from their efforts in that game. Hume are looking very capable of overcoming Pascoe Vale as they sit second and only one win behind the league leaders. This should be a routine win for Hume.
Collingwood brought there absolute best to the table against Hume and looked a good chance to win the game despite the massive gulf between the two teams on the table and in experience. The game was goal for goal throughout with the only way for the teams to be separated being a penalty shoot out. Hume will be counting there lucky stars for the addition of the new rule which transformed a certain draw into a win.
The goalkeepers for both teams played a massive part in keeping the game so close. With Giovanny Garcia for Collingwood being the stand out player on the pitch.
Collingwood should hold their heads high after what was a gutsy effort to almost topple one of the leagues top teams.
