A strong second half performance from Fitzroy has helped them see off Moreland and moving within three points of league leaders FC Carlton Heart.
Fitzroy took the lead twice in the first half, only to be pegged back both times by a Moreland side looking to redeem itself after its humbling eight-nil loss at the hands of Western Wolves last week.
Fitzroy took the lead for the third time early in the second half through Jimmy Soufis, before goals from Llewelyn Stone and Cosimo Russo sealed the deal for the Tigers.
