In what has been one of the most enthralling matches in recent memory, Fitzroy were able to maintain their strong form in a tightly contested match against Western Wolves.

It was a game in which both sides played to their respective strengths and took advantage of their opportunities as reflected in the two-all score leading into the break.

The second half proved be just as exhilarating as the first; many chances were created through the two high-octane offences.

However, it was Fitzroy that had too much composure and class that eventually overran their counterparts.

Despite the impressive offensive performance from Fitzroy, the win would not have been possible had it not been for some absolutely phenomenal saves from goalkeeper Aaron Yu.
