Hume have shrugged off a slow start come from behind twice in their match against Balwyn and claim all three points.

Balwyn took the lead in the first half through Ben Monteleone, before they were pegged back by Ubeyde Cicek before the half-time break.

Early in the second half, a lovely through ball from Balwyn’s Andreas Govas put Josh Sasic through on goal, and the youngster made no mistake in putting the Blues back into the lead.

After constantly knocking on the door, Hume found another equaliser, this time through Nejdet Sahin.

With just under four minutes to play, Moe Matar cut in off the right wing and fired home a shot with his left foot to give Hume the lead for the first time in the match.

Balwyn deployed the fifth-man tactic in an attempt to get back into the game, but the tactic backfired as Nejdet Sahin scored his second goal of the game into an open goal and seal all three points for the Black Army.
