Recap

The first game of the night saw Kingston Royals looking to bounce back from Wednesday’s defeat. With Preston United starting to find their feet they would be looking to put pressure on their opponents early. It was Kingston who struck first as Michelle Levy found the back of the net, but it was quickly cancelled out when Taylor Halabi equalised for Preston. Kingston would then turn the screws at two more from Levy completed her hat trick and a single from Emma Runnalls had Kingston in a commanding position at the half leading 4-1.

The second half saw the tide turn as both sides found the back of the net on a number of occasions. Early on it was Levy and Runnalls continuing to do the damage but Preston United hung in there and another two goals from Halabi had the game in close. Liz Eyar got a late consolation but Kingston would hold on for the win. however it was a fantastic display from United who will only continue growing stronger from here.
