The next game of the night saw two sides level on points and looking to get a three point break on each other as we head into the christmas break. In the early exchanges Carlton opened the scoring as Katie Foster struck from distance. Pascoe would draw level with through Simone Otto before going ahead when Jessica Au finished one one one. With the final play of the half Elly Torre launched a rocket into the top corner to send the crowd wild and have the pair level at the half.

The second half saw Pascoe Vale step it up a notch and fire countless efforts at the Carlton goal and if not for the brilliance of Sam Dowling would have comfortably won the game. The half ended goal-less and Pascoe managed to take a 1-0 win in the penalty shootout as Jessica Au converted to keep Pascoe Vale in top four at christmas.
