Pascoe Vale have come from two goals down in the final three minutes to beat Brunswick on penalties.
The two sides exchanged goals in the first half, with Pascoe Vale’s goal coming from 15 year-old Mauricio Ambador and Brunwick’s goal coming from Ruz Roslan.
Brunswick came out strongly in the second half and they got out to a 3-1 lead with Roslan completing his hat-trick.
With less than three minutes to play, Pascoe Vale deployed the fifth-man tactic to good effect, scoring two quick-fire goals and getting themselves well and truly back in the game.
The Lions failed to capitalise on their momentum though, and the game went to a penalty shootout.
Pascoe Vale successfully converted two out of their three spot-kicks to win the game.
