As the season draws close to an end, both sides had something to play for. Carlton look to extend their league upon the top of table whilst Moreland continue to battle their way up the table. Carlton strikes first and controlled the first half.
The first half looked very promising for Carlton, as they took a 3-0 lead heading into the half.
However, Moreland came out the gates roaring and scored in two quick goals in succession to tighten the game up. The game reached new levels of intensity but Carlton as they’ve done all season kept their composure and answered back.
Chabaan Rajab was instrumental in both halves scoring in each.
