Recap
Hume have managed a second consecutive Foz cup victory after overcoming a defiant Balwyn. The match saw Balwyn fly out of the blocks to a two goal lead but Hume reeled them back in before the half and put them away in the second half.
Hume was led by one of the best solo performances in Foz cup history as their captain Nejdett Sahin who managed three goals and proved the difference as he turned the game on its head. The huge performance saw Sahin awarded the golden boot for the competition. He had support from star young player Muhammed Temel and goal keeper Frano Saric who was awarded golden glove for his effort.
Balwyn fought hard but fell short following two games compared with their opponents who only played one. They will be hoping to improve on their showing through the next Series Futsal Victoria season and the Series Futsal Australia tournament.
Hume will hope to carry this momentum on to the Series Futsal Australia tournament.
