With the recent announcement of Futsal Oz Thomastown reopening, we would like to take this opportunity to provide you all with an update.
The Series Futsal main court at Thomastown will undergo a complete makeover, with plans to restructure and design a modern Futsal arena suitable for the dynamic fast pace Series Futsal Leagues. Construction will see four new spacious and modern player change rooms, two new referees rooms and a high tech press room accommodating media personal together with a new modern commentary box.
The Series Futsal Arena will be fitted out with state of the art lighting and surround sound systems allowing for a complete Sports Entertainment Experience. To compliment this upgrade, two executive corporate boxes with full amenities and two multimedia studios will be available for private hire. The Series Futsal Arena will take over both courts (train line side) effectively leaving Futsal Oz with two social league courts as per franchise model. This means the Futsal Oz stadium will be split in half with Futsal Oz on one side and the Series Futsal Arena on the other. All Elite leagues from juniors to seniors will have a new home “The Series Futsal Arena”.
We plan to start work on the Series Futsal Arena in May giving Futsal Oz the opportunity to schedule and fixture all social league games.
All Elite leagues will remain in Brunswick until construction is complete.
