SA: Prospect adds another international talent to squad

South Australian side Prospect FC has made a late addition to its squad, with Solomon Islands star Jack Wetney joining the club.

Wetney, 27, has played in two Futsal World Cups, as well as an appearance in the AFC Futsal Club Championship in Iran.

Wetney joins fellow Solomon Islands national player Elliot Ragomo in a star-studded Prospect line-up.

Known for his skill and vision, Wetney is looking forward to making his Series Futsal Australia debut.

“I was pleased to be approached by Samim (Rohani, Prospect FC coach) to be part of their team”, he said.

“I am also excited to once again play alongside the captain of my national team, Elliot Ragomo.”

Prospect’s first game will be against recent Foz Cup champions Hume FC.
