South Melbourne early on really showed Prahran what it takes to play at the next level as they moved the ball around well and took control of the game. Going in at the half up 4-0 South Melbourne were in control and the second half was much of the same. As the often free flowing South Melbourne had more time and space compared to against the more defensive minded League One sides they were able to pick apart Prahran as they ran away with the game ending with a crushing 11 goal win.
