Series Futsal organisers are searching for entertainment acts to spark up the crowd and players as the premiership moves into its ‘fans first’ era.

In a bid to get the crowd rocking in the new Thomastown Futsal Oz Stadium, Series Futsal is seeking expressions of interest from live acts to perform during half time breaks and between games.

Series Futsal boss Peter Parthimos says that he wants to hear from all different styles of talent, from emerging acts to established performers, and wants to see a variety of talent, including singers, dancers or any style of performing arts.

“Series Futsal is no longer just futsal. It’s just just another sport – it’s an afternoon of entertainment,” said Peter Parthimos.

“We want to keep the crowd entertained at every moment they are in the stadium. I want to see them jumping up and getting excited.

“We have a number of initiatives that we are rolling out, and the next step will be to hear and see from some live acts.

“I encourage anyone to contact us, show us what you can do and perform in front of a new crowd.”

The new entertainment acts will be in conjunction with the new crowd interaction that debuted at Thomastown last Sunday.

Every week, selected crowd members will have the opportunity to kick the ball from half way. $10 is rewarded for hitting the cross bar, $20 is handed out to land in the bucket on the goal line, and a whopping $100 if you can hit the cross bar AND land the ball in the bucket!
