Babaj got on the scoresheet early on with Trent Edwards whilst Christopher Velluto was pulling the strings for Coburg up the other end. Up by a goal at the half Tullamarine were going goal for goal with Coburg as the game was tied multiple times with Nick Amanatidis putting in a big shift in the second half for Coburg. RMIT Football Club (1st) 5-5 (8th) North Melbourne Futsal Club

RMIT – V.Marino 2, J.Serrano, Y.Yamauchi, R.Reis
NM – A.Derone 3, L.Kfeilati 2

Top played bottom as the inform RMIT took on the always battling North Melbourne. You would not have been able to tell the two teams sat at opposite ends of the table in a competitive even battle that went on from the get go. RMIT just had the edge for most of the game leading by a goal at the break. RMIT kept the 1 goal advantage when Rafael Reis in his last game replied to Leo Kfeilati’s goal to make it 4-3. It was then that Abdul Derone pounced, after playing a fantastic game already Derone took a loose ball and lashed it home to tie the game at 4-4. Good play between Marino and Yamauchi led to Marino putting RMIT back in front but Derone was there again as he beat the defence and Tizar in goals all ends up to finish his hat trick and tie the game. Derone gave away a foul as RMIT had a chance to win the game with a minute left and Richard McPhillips stood up but only managed to hit the inside of the post and out in a dramatic ending to a fantastic game.

A nice toepoke finish from Ari Jerrems put Essendon in the lead before. A red card to Sami Wareeth gave Toorak a look back in the game to snag a point but Essendons Alex Jong bagged a winner to help them to a big 3-2 win.
