Recap
The final match of the night saw a bottom of the table clash as Metropolitan took on CF Brunswick. Having bolstered their ranks during this transfer window, with the likes of goal keeper Christos Apostolakis and Adam Cooper, Brunswick were looking a new and improved side. With newly appointed head coach Chris Muelu now at the helm, Brunswick looked a very different side as they came out of the blocks firing. Early goals from Ruz Roslan, Antonis Apostolakis and Adam Cooper got the Bloods out to a quick 3-0 lead. Metro eventually pegged one back when Tomislav Grgic was found at the back post, before Joshua Pulvirenti lashed a long range effort into the top left corner. Cooper would lay through Matthew Sesay who made no mistake as Brunswick went into half time 5-1 up.
The second half is where the flood gates really opened as Metro pushed forward to get something from the game and became exposed at the back. Pulvirenti bagged his second of the match with another strike from range, before completing his hatrick soon after with another strike from a similar distance. Alija Redzepovic scored to add a little respectability to the scoreline, but Pulvirenti soon grabbed his fourth, before Cooper added his second with a ferocious attempt into the roof of the net. Dino Redzepovic scored a consolation goal to have the scoreline at 9-3 to Brunswick, but the men in red were not finished. Cooper completed his hatrick with a low drilled free kick, Clint Mogoai and Ruz Roslan linked up twice with the latter setting up the former for the first goal and vice versa for the second. A comprehensive 12-3 drubbing shows good signs for Brunswick as their new additions seem to be paying dividends. AS for Metro, things seem to be going from bad to worse.
