Collingwood were able to hold off a disappointing Hume. Hume have missed their chance at the top spot on the table after dropping in a huge upset.

The game was end to end with Hume spending a lot of time on the attack but Collingwood’s defence proved too strong. The counter attacking play from Collingwood left Hume exposed on many occasions and had they been more accurate may have had a greater winning margin.

The win pushes Collingwood a game clear of the now bottom placed Ashburton.
