Recap
Pascoe Vale escape with three points after Collingwood put pressure on them in a tight contest. The scoreline was defined by physical play as Collingwood worked to make their presence known against the newly crowned champions.
Pascoe Vale was again inspired by their skipper Andre Caro who scored a fantastic goal late to help them get the win. Marucio Novak was up to his usual tricks with a late goal sealing the win for his team following his game winner last week.
The loss leaves Collingwood in dire straights as they fall further to the bottom of the table and the risk of relegation becomes very real.
For Pascoe Vale another tough win will be the icing on a very good cake as they celebrate being crowned champions for a second season running.
