Fitzroy has made a major statement by smashing last season’s runners-up Hume by ten goals to three.
Fernando De Moreas was absolutely immense for Fitzroy, he was instrumental in the majority of Hume’s great attacking moves as he proved to everyone in attendance that his injury has not slowed him down.
Fitzroy was in complete control from start to finish, scoring four goals in the first half and six in the second.
Hume was without star players Nejdet Sahin, Resit Culculoglu and first choice goalkeeper Frano Saric.
