The Western Wolves have won their first ever game in Series Futsal Victoria, coming from two goals down to beat Brunswick in a thriller.

Brunswick bossed the first half, with the Wolves seemingly having stage freight in their first game; Brunswick took a 2-0 lead into the half-time break.

The Wolves looked to be resigned to a loss in their first game, and no one would have blamed them, it would have simply been labelled a learning experience.

But the Wolves had no apparent interest in losing their debut game, as they rallied and clawed their way back through two goals from their talisman Lokman Ramadan.

Ramadan completed his hat-trick and gave the Wolves the lead for the first time in the match, with less than five minutes on the clock.

The drama did not end there; Brunswick goalkeeper was given his marching orders for his last-man challenge on the Wolves’ Tony Demiri, leaving Brunswick’s Felipe Yamashita in goals for the final thirty seconds.

Yamashita saved the resulting ten-metre penalty but the Wolves would not be denied their maiden win in their debut game.
