The Western Wolves have held off a persistent Pascoe Vale to win their second game in a row, while resigning the champions to their second loss in as many games.
It was a tale of two halves as the Wolves dominated the first half from start to finish, scoring seven goals and keeping Pascoe Vale out.
Wolves’ star target Lokmen Ramadan scored five of those goals and assisted the other two in one of the most impressive first half performances in recent memory.
Pascoe Vale attempted a remarkable comeback and got within three goals of the Wolves in the second half; but ultimately, their dismal first half performance was too hard to come back from.
