Hume have held on for a tight win over the Western Wolves to move into the top four.

The game was tightly contested in the first half, with the two teams going goal for goal and the scores was at two-two at the half-time break.

Hume came out firing in the second half and raced out to a five-two lead, and that point the three points appeared to be sealed for the Black Army, but the Wolves were not done hunting.

They scored two late goals to get back into the game, but the Wolves’ attempt at a tremendous escape act fell just short as Hume held on for a crucial win.

The highlight of the game was an extraordinary bicycle kick from man of the match Jason Barrinetos who went on to complete his hat-trick in the second half.
