Pascoe Vale have come from behind to beat Hume in a penalty shootout after the game finished level in regular time.

It was an intense affair between the two fierce rivals, and both goalkeepers were impressive in the first half, but Pascoe Vale were more potent in attack and took a two-one lead into the half-time break.

The second half saw Hume come out firing with Jason Barrientos scoring twice to turn the game around for the Black Army and give them the lead.

Pascoe Vale equalised through Mauricio Novak and the scores remained level until the full-time whistle went to signal the end of regular time.

Hume only converted one penalty in the shootout, while Pascoe Vale were clinical, not missing any of their kicks to win the crucial match and move into the top four on goal-difference.
