Pascoe Vale have moved into the top three after finishing the match strongly to beat Metropolitan in the last match of the night.

Pascoe Vale got out to a two goal lead in the first half displaying urgency fitting of their situation, they knew they needed to win to go into the top three and keep their hopes of Series Futsal Australia qualification alive.

Metro got one goal back before the half-time break when they deployed their signature long-throw tactic and Jordi Rodriguez rose high at the back post to nod the ball past Pascoe Vale keeper Muhammed Kuzucu.

The second half was just as competitive and Metro threatened a comeback, but when man of the match Lucas Vaz scored for Pascoe Vale, the momentum was back with the defending champions and they ultimately ran out the victors.
