Western Wolves FC have stunned Pascoe Vale, coming from behind to beat the defending champions on penalties.

The Wolves took an early lead when their goalkeeper Bilal Atik stunned the crowd with a footy style kick to lob Pascoe Vale keeper  Muhammed Kuzucu while he was in his goals.

Pascoe Vale soon equalised when Lucas Vaz set up Andre Caro for a back-post tap in, and the two teams went into the break all square.

Pascoe Vale took the lead in the second half, before Tiema Couliabaly equalised for the Wolves.

The defending champions regained the lead within seconds though, through Lucas Vaz.

But the Wolves had more fight left in them, and they found a late equaliser through Lokmen Ramadan to send the game to a shootout.

Bilal Atik, who made a number of crucial saves during the match, continued his heroics into the shootout, making two crucial saves to hand the Wolves a shock win that all but secures their safety from the automatic relegation.
