Recap

Balwyn have come back from a two goal half-time deficit to beat Brunswick in a penalty shootout.

Brunswick raced out to a two goal lead early in the first half, but Balwyn got one goal back through Ben Monteleone to get back into the game.

Seconds before the half-time break, Brunswick regained their two goal advantage with a goal from Ruz Roslan, his second of the game.

Balwyn got back into the game in the second half with a goal from Michele Salvi, before an own-goal from Roslan levelled the scoring for Balwyn.

When Daniel Cappellaro set up Salvi for his second goal of the game, a win appeared to be on the cards for Balwyn, but Roslan made up for his error by equalising for Brunswick in the last minute of the game, completing his hat-trick.

The match went to a shootout and Balwyn keeper Clayton Chappell was the hero as his side triumphed on penalties.
