Hume have come from behind to beat Balwyn to keep their chances of a top-three finish alive after Balwyn took the lead in the opening minutes of the game.

Hume found an equaliser not long after Balwyn’s early goal, before finding a winner courtesy of Nejdet Sahin’s shot coming off the post and then off the back of Balwyn’s keeper Pier Mario and into the goal.

The second half saw both teams struggle to create chances, before Balwyn deployed the fifth-man tactic with just over three minutes to play and Hume target Ubeyde Cicek capitalised with two goals into the open net to wrap the game up for his side.
