Pascoe Vale has edged past Brunswick to win on penalties after the two teams could not be separated in regular time.

Pascoe Vale took the lead in the first half and doubled their advantage early in the second, before Brunswick came from two-nil down to turn the game around and lead three-two.

Pascoe Vale clawed their way back into the game, scoring twice in quick succession to equalise and then take the lead, through Rico Hauser and Joao Da Silva.

However, unlikely goalscorer and man of the match Antonis Apostolakis scored his second goal of the game to snatch a late equaliser for Brunswick.

The game went to a shootout and both teams were poor from the ten-meter penalty spot, with only Joao Da Silva scoring the only penalty of the shootout to give Pascoe Vale the three points.
