Recap

Western Wolves have hammered eight goals past Balwyn, who scored four goals of their own, in what was an all-out goal fest at Futsal Oz’s Thomastown stadium.

The Western Wolves got out a two-one lead early in the first half, and that’s how the scoreline remained until late in the half when the Wolves added a third to give themselves some breathing room at the half-time break.

The Wolves turned the goal tap on in the second half and the goals flowed, scoring five second half goals in total as Balwyn deployed the fifth-man in an attempt to get back into the game.

Balwyn scored a flurry of consolation goals at the end of the game but the margin was already an insurmountable one, and the Wolves emerged comfortable winners.
