Recap
The first game of the night saw Kingston Royals coming off the back of three straight defeats and looking to take three points off the bottom side in the competition. It was a closely contest first half before Amy Malander found Juliette Browne who tapped home the opener. They soon doubled the advantage when Michelle Levy struck to have Kingston in with a healthy lead at half time.
Kingston continued their form into the second half and got out to a 4-0 lead with goals from Levy and Charlene Leung before Preston United were sparked into life pulling back two quick goals from Liz Eyar and having a couple more good chances to get closer. It wasn’t to be though as Kingston added the final three goals of the game with Louise McMullen grabbing a brace and Levy completing her hat trick to seal an important three points for Kingston.
